About In Flight Studio
In Flight Studio was born when husband and wife team, Wyeth Stiles and Trina Warren, returned from Australia in 2004 where they had undertaken a year long yoga teacher training. Returning to the bay area, and after the birth of their first child, they decided to use their extensive experience working in the design field to start their own small business. Over the past few years they have developed relationships with small, medium and large organizations, as well as individuals with a need for high-end visual design and custom Web application development. In their experience, keeping a small, tightly run ship has enabled them to avoid the pitfalls of larger, more cumbersome organizations. In addition to keeping overhead low, they have been able to remain flexible to take on diverse projects and manage multiple deadlines.
Caitrina Warren: Creative Director
Trina has always been interested in art and photography. She spent a year in Florence Italy studying printmaking while earning her degree in applied art and design at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. After school she worked as a Web designer for an internet service provider and then for a small boutique design firm where she was the principal designer. Although Trina's main focus is on print design, she also has a great eye for, and experience in, Web design and photography.
Wyeth Stiles: Producer
Wyeth has always had a passion for art and understanding how things work. Having been introduced to computers at an early age, he has also been a near-lifelong computer geek (he has a shelf full of programming books to prove it.) After completing a 4-year degree in applied art and design at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, Wyeth went on to what he considers his second education, working for a medium sized Web development house who's main clients were Apple and Hewlett-Packard during the boom/bust days of the internet. While there, in addition to eating too many power bars, he solidified his knowledge of Web application development and learned the intricacies of maintaining good client relationships.
